POH 900 - Population Health Credits: 4
This required rotation completes the student’s work in the Community Medicine Program that began in the chosen site during the first year of medical school. The rotation enables the student to further integrate curricular components in Community Medicine, Basic Sciences, Medical Ethics, and Clinical Training in a community-based, ambulatory site. Under the supervision of the preceptor, the student will actively participate in community and clinical medicine in an environment that has become familiar by virtue of the previous rotations in the community. The student will participate fully with the preceptor in a wide variety of practice responsibilities in the office and/or community related settings. Note: Offered by the School of Medicine.
